Bell/Luggage & Valet Attendant

Park cars, give directions, manage traffic at the front drive, back-up drivers when needed, deliver luggage, and communicate well with guests. Valet also encounter situations where they will need to be somewhat mechanically inclined such as repairing bikes, fixing flats, and basic vehicle upkeep. Valet personnel must understand the entire resort and give reliable information to guests. They are knowledgeable of the local area and are willing to perform a multitude of small tasks for guests such as shoe shine and room deliveries, etc.
Assist guests with hotel check-in process including luggage assistance and valet parking.
Cleaning and maintaining front entrance of Hotel and valet office.
Coordinate and track all transportation details.
Responsible for billing procedures and proper handling of SMS reports.
Maintain professional composure in high stress situations in order to make last minute changes.
Access, input and retrieve information from department computer system.
Exceptional communication skills, detail oriented, and ability to learn in an ever changing work environment.
Multi tasking skills.
Telephone etiquette.
Maintain a constant awareness of resort amenity schedules and promotions.

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Maintain a clean driving record and knowledge of basic vehicle functions.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to lift luggage and assist valet team.
Must be able to speak, comprehend reading materials and write English.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
