Access Services Representative II - Hill Country

We are looking for a talented Access Services Representative II to join Baylor Scott & White Health.
Under general supervision, obtains current and accurate demographics and insurance information in order to register patient, verification of insurance benefits, negotiates and collects patient financial responsibilities. Provides training and mentoring responsibilities of peers.
The ideal candidate for the Access Services Representative II role is a strong collaborator who has excellent customer service skills, negotiating skills, and collecting patient financial responsibilities.

+ Shift/Schedule - Full Time, Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm

High School Diploma
2 Years of Experience required or education equivalency
Bachelors Degree - no experience
Associate Degree - no experience
Healthcare/Customer Service experience and 1 year working in Patient Access at the organization is preferred for internal candidates.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
