MATERIAL HANDLER - MARBLE FALLS LOCATION

Overview


Material handlers perform material and product loading and unloading activities to support the branch location. In their day to day duties, they operate a forklift, overhead crane and construction tools.


Responsibilities


  • Complete work assignments and customer orders safely, accurately, timely and without damage. Assist co-workers and customers.
  • Inspect materials, products, machinery, tools and equipment.
  • Assist with inventory management activities including daily updates to the ERP system.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
  • Assist in the movement of inventory within and among workstations and areas.
  • Comply with all safety requirements and use applicable personal protective equipment.

Qualifications


  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • A combination of education and experience may be qualifying.
  • Must be able to become certified to operate a forklift vehicle and overhead crane.

Compensation & Benefits


  • Temp to hire position. Starting pay rate $16.25/hour during temp orientation, after 85 days hire on at $16.75/hour with full benefits Package.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
